BOMnipotent v1.1.0 increases user comfort
Newly generated keys can be stored at custom locations, and alternative commandline aliases are available.
With BOMnipotent fully functional for six weeks now, Weichwerke Heidrich Software has focused on improving the overall user experience.
For example, you previously had to do some file-system shuffling of keys when creating a new robot account. Because automation is one of the main focuses of BOMnipotent, this process has been made much easier: You can simply provide a location to store the newly generated key in.
In addition, the client now offers some aliases for commandline arguments. These are for example more intuitive in some contexts, or merely shorter. Because let’s be honest, who wants to type out “vulnerability” in their terminal?
More of BOMnipotent has changed since the last release. A full changelog can, as always, be found in the documentation .
As you peruse it, you may notice that some of the code snippets are now marked as “available since version 1.1.0”. In addition to informing you, this marker is used by a newly created script that makes sure that a new release does not accidently introduce breaking changes.
Because life is better with reliable software.
